With ABSI, you may notice a strange effect: when the weight increases but the waist circumference stays the same, the calculated risk will decrease. If the weight increases but the waist circumference stays the same, it means the weight is better distributed over the body. Also remember that ABSI is a relative risk indicator: it shows your risk in relation to other people of your gender and age.
